As visual team players who ask our clients about the purpose, audience and message of every shot, and then incorporates that information into every shot. This makes us easy to use and a designer’s dream, as we are thinking about how the image will reproduce while we are shooting. It makes your life so much easier by knowing that you won’t need to rework the images to death in order to use them in your marketing and advertising. Our clients and their goals matter to us.
We create compelling evocative visual stories. Whether photographing CEOs of corporations, various musicians, lifestyle shoots and family scenes, still life or product shots, or sizzling prime rib, in studio or on location, we create images that are as unexpected as they are revealing.
Utilizing light as a sculpting tool, a strong sense of graphic composition, and an ability to draw out the subject’s spirit, we are intent upon creating evocative imagery that draws the viewer in, enabling our clients to deliver their corporate message or sell a consumer service.
We are, first and foremost, expert commercial visual artists who know that if our images does not help our clients grow their businesses, enhance their careers and make more money, neither will they keep doing all of the above for us.

What our clients can expect from us:
Stock photography is often just as expensive as assignment work, and no company that has spent money, big money, branding is going to risk using stock photography for major campaigns. The image quality of stock is getting better and better all the time; however, it’s the uniqueness factor that clients are after. By the way, a stock photo or clip disc can’t ask these questions. It is that factor that enables a business to not only survive, but grow and thrive. That is how we do it, and that is how our clients do it.
The purpose of commercial photography today is to visually trigger a similar moment that is as unexpected as it is revealing. Utilizing light as a sculpting tool, a strong sense of graphic composition, and an ability to draw out the subject’s spirit, we are intent upon creating evocative imagery that draws the viewer in, enabling our clients to deliver their corporate message or sell a consumer service. Evocative imagery with a specific vision for their company, one that will speak their message.

We are visual team players who asks our clients about the audience and message, and then incorporates that information into the shot. Our clients and their goals matter. By the way, a stock photo or clip disc can’t ask these questions.
We are a designer’s dream, as we are thinking about how the image will reproduce while we are shooting. It makes your life so much easier to know that you won’t need to rework the images to death in order to use them in your marketing.

We are located in the center of the Gulf Coast, putting us in easy reach to or from anywhere along the US coastline of the Gulf of Mexico. The natural beauty of the area of Pensacola, Florida, is a prime location for shooting commercial photography.
Most designers set their visuals arbitrarily, either by pulling values out of the sky or by adhering to a baseline compositional grid. The former case isn’t worth discussing here, but the latter requires a closer look.
When using a baseline compositional grid, the first thing you must decide on is your baseline grid unit. You’ll commonly see baseline compositional grid values of something like 1080x???, but where does a value like that come from?
As you might have guessed, most photographers choose this unit arbitrarily. The problem with this approach is that the resulting baseline compositional grid unit is not directly related to the primary format ratio or size, which is the most fundamental design element of the image.
The average person processes visuals 60 thousand times faster than words alone. Also, a visual can increase a viewer's comprehension by 89%. Evocative imagery that draws the viewer in, enabling our clients to deliver their corporate message.
As it turns out, the golden ratio provides us with a formula for proper format and composition of an image. We can now set our format ratio with absolute certainty in any situation! Better still, we can use this information about photographic composition to make more informed decisions about all the spatial aspects of our images, such as:
- The amount of negative and/or positive space that appears within the frame.
- Padding, margins, and other units of negative/positive space.
- Compositional line- in a given image
- Any and all spatial properties that you wish to relate compositionally.
The power of golden ratio photographical composition cannot be understated. By choosing the format ratio of your primary visual format as your new “baseline unit”, you are effectively tying all the dimensions of your layout together with the golden ratio.
